NCCCO Certification

The NCCCO crane operator certification program is recognized by OSHA as demonstrating that the certified operator meets OSHA's requirements for crane operator proficiency. The certification program is also accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). Widely accepted as the gold standard to promote safe crane operations across the nation, the NCCCO certification is currently required or recognized by 10 states and 2 cities. West Virginia and New Jersey are among these states. (legislation pending in PA).

To help you keep your operators and work site safe, we offer complete operator training programs to prepare your operators for the CCO certification exams. Our program is designed to promote excellence in operators and to eliminate paper work for you. We offer four days of on-site or remote training for the written exam and coordinate administration of the exam on the fifth day. We also schedule the required practical exam and administer all the paperwork required for certification. We offer the complete package for NCCCO certification!

Currently, 15 states and 6 cities have licensing requirements for crane operators. Administrative procedures change periodically; please ensure you contact the appropriate authority to ensure you have the latest information.  You may click on the NCCCO State Certification page for more information.
